It is awesome to view beautiful rocks cascades and canyons slightly hidden in the thin flying mists of the mighty presence of the Mt. Shisapangma (8212m) on our overland drive back to Nepal board to end the exhilarating Tibet tour to Lhasa Everest base camp.

Day 01: Arrival and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu Upon arrival in Kathmandu.
Our airport representative will be waiting outside the airport terminal a few metres from the exit door. Please check your name at play card. He will bring you to hotel in kathmandu. The drive from the airport to the hotel is around 20 minutes
Day 2: Kathmandu (1360m)
In the morning we explore Kathmandu on an organised sightseeing tour. We visit Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world, where we observe Buddhist monks in prayer in the monasteries surrounding the stupa. We also visit Pashupatinath, the most famous Hindu temple in the country, located on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Here we see Hindu holy men (sadhus) meditating, pilgrims bathing and occasionally funeral pyres burning on the ghats. The rest of our time in Kathmandu is free for further sightseeing and exploration. In the late afternoon you will be issued with your Trek Pack and departure information for the next morning.Meals included: 1 breakfast.
Day 03 : Enjoy the most spectacular flight in the world to Lhasa (3,660m) with views of Panoramic Himalayan range.
Day 04 : Take it easy today and this evening stroll around the Barkhor bazaar.
Day 05: Visit the two most renowned monasteries of Lhasa; Drepung and Sera.
Day 06 : Visit the world famous Potala Palace and go through the Jokhong Temple in the afternoon.
Day 07: Begins your overland adventure with a full day drive to Gyantse.
Along the way you cross the Khamba La pass (4794m) and the Kara La pass (5010m), both grant spectacular views. After the Khamba La, you come to Yamdrok Tso, also known as the Turquoise Lake. You'll want to have your camera ready.
Day 08 : Is a busy Day.
In the morning visit Khumvum stupa and monastery followed by a 2 hr. drive to Shigatse. Here see the giant Buddha in the famous Tashilunpo monastery, seat of the Panchen Lama.
Day 09 : Takes you to visit Sakya monastery.
Here you can spend the afternoon enjoying the scenery. You'll spend the night in the Tibetan truck stop town of Lhatse.
Day 10 : Begins with the Tsho La (4500m) and ends with the spectacular view of Mt. Everest from Rombuk monastery (5,000m). Relax tonight and stroll around the monastery.
Day 11 : Get up early and start the 2-3 hour leisurely walk (1-way) to the base-camp (5,200m) itself. You should return early afternoon to head to Lao Tingri. Lao Tingri is a small Tibetan town that offers the best view from a toilet that your liable to get any where in the world.
Day 12 : Make sure you have some photos left for the panoramic view of the Himalayan range as you cross the Lalung La pass (5050m). On your way to the border town of Zhangmu you may visit Pelgyeling monastery where Milarepa's cave (Tibet's most famous Yogi) is situated. This evening relax in Nepal.
Day 12 : Free Day in Kathmandu
Day 13 : Tour ends
